Blackburn + Sweetzer Has Moved

New men’s and women’s label and boutique Artisan de Luxe has opened at 8574 Melrose Avenue in The Courtyard across from Urth Caffe. The overall vibe is distressed luxe—lots of denim, reworked vintage leather and denim with hand-painted elements, Nepalese prayer beads incorporated into heavy silver jewelry. Though not particularly my style, I did find some very nice plaid and khaki men’s buttondowns (the latter with military styling), potentially flattering women’s jeans in a riding pant style, and a very pretty vermeil and amethyst necklace. I would be tempted to go back and try the jeans if they weren’t nearly $300.
