Just in case it slipped past you at LA Now or Curbed LA, already approved by PLUM, the Genton Barth Real Estate Group’s Wetherly Project has now been approved by the City Council. So, the 84 existing apartments are going down to be replaced by the 12-story complex of 95 condos, with RTKL as the architects. LA Now notes this was quite a skirmish: “The fight involved roughly a dozen City Hall lobbyists, lawyers and consultants.”
