As longtime B+S readers will know, I am quite a fan of LA label Society for Rational Dress—the hardware and leather details, the sexy drape of silks and knits, a confident femininity that doesn’t need poufs and pink and excess to tell the story.

I would’ve never guessed a couple weeks ago when the apartment was still uncomfortably hot that I would be longing for a chunky knit sweater of any kind, but Society designer Corinne Grassini nabs my attention once again with these marled knit sweaters with lush cowl neck (one long, $337; one short, $304), each with a thin buckled leather strap (removable, if you so please), which can be used to gather the cowl. I would gladly weather rain or snow for one of these…
