Because, clearly, a slice of pizza is not portable enough, NYC-based chef/food stylist Nir Adar has created Crispycones, conical bunches of pepperoni and cheese, bacon and eggs, beef chili, BBQ chicken, pulled pork, chocolate mousse, cheese cake, among others, eaten in that edible receptacle once reserved for ice cream. And they’re nutritious (around 190 calories, 50 from fat), so you can eat like, several, at least, right?! Really, who needs real food when you can have chicken fajita sliding down your gullet in seconds flat? I have the Colbert Report to thank for this culinary revelation (the clip, about 3:30 in), which will hit convenience stores and food aisles soon for your microwaving pleasure.
