Rose Tarlow Melrose House; click to expand images
Described as a “furniture and fabric artisan, interior designer, antiquarian and author,” Rose Tarlow has been on the LA interiors scene since 1976 when she opened R. Tarlow Antiques, subsequently moving on to design her own furniture and textiles shortly thereafter. Tarlow has now opened Rose Tarlow Melrose House at 8540 Melrose Avenue in the former Heritage Book Bindery space. It was closed when I happened by (store hours are Mon-Fri 9am-6pm), but it looks pretty spectacular from the exterior…
And in other interiors news, Brenda Antin’s shop of antiques and reproductions is jumping from the north to the south side of the street to 7410 Beverly Boulevard.
