‘Teen Vogue’ Beauty Director Eva Chen dishes with sorority girls; click to expand image

It’s amazing what a little blush, a dash of eye shadow and a slab of lip gloss can do to a girl’s disposition. I trekked out to Westwood to check out Clinique Fresh Faces 2009 Tour. Clinique has teamed up with Teen Vogue to tour across the US, beautifying faces with their Mobile Beauty Studio. Los Angeles is their last stop and the van will be situated on 1031 Broxton (between Weyburn and Kinross Avenues) until Friday, from 11am-7pm.
At 2pm, the line was short with only a ten-minute wait to get made up with a choice of “Dramatic” or “Naturally Pretty” looks, hairstyling and a quick photo shoot for a chance to win the Fresh Faces contest. The van is also equipped for quick Clinique purchases.
“In Austin, more than 400 girls lined up on a Friday an hour before closing shop,” said Eva Chen, Beauty Director of Teen Vogue. Eva and the Clinique crew expect to see at least 600 LA girls before the end of the week. And while I might’ve been overly painted when I walked up the short block to order up some Diddy Riese cookies, the guy behind the counter didn’t seem to mind.
