Blackburn + Sweetzer Has Moved

Only three days after its slated opening, Paint Shop Beverly Hills was bustling yesterday at its new nail and hair salon at 7938 West 3rd Street, relocated from Robertson. A family-run business owned by wife and husband team Julie and Domingo Serquinia, Julie says a need for more square footage prompted the move: “There was no room for growth in the other space. Domingo is a hair stylist, and this way we were able to combine what we do.”

The former Built by Wendy space has been transformed; it feels twice the size now that the back wall has been taken down, opening up what was once a stock area. The front space is decked with wood nail client chairs, cushioned in green, ivory and orange, the back now accommodates half a dozen hair clients at once. Manicures range from $30-$38.50, pedicures $44-$80 (along with a happy hour 1/2 mani/pedi option for $50), haircuts from $65-$120 (depending on stylist), color from $85 and up. A Brazilian Keratin Treatment is offered starting at $350, Yuko Straightening for $500 and up.
