BedHead Pajamas is now open at 8336 West 3rd Street, which has been transformed from its former Malgosia boutique self. Everything feels opened up, from the simple exterior to the interior, now with pale yellow walls and a free-flowing shopping experience from front all the way to the back, which used to be a stock area. Owner Renee Claire says merch is still coming, but you’ll already find a good representation of the women’s (around $106-$158), men’s ($28-$158), and kids’ ($68) pajama line in flannel, cotton, cotton sateen, and cotton stretch, as well as duvets ($575-$675) and shams ($60-$125), and 600 thread count Italian sheets in loads of colors ($495-$675) made for the boutique.
More on the boutique, plus check the shop and the merch this way!

The shop also carries a handful of outside vendors, including Baekgaard alarm clocks in punchy hues, faux fur slippers and water bottles ($95) by Moore and Moore Textiles, custom-made beds from a Topanga craftsman ($4,200), Ester & Erik no-drip candles ($14.50-$16.50), and select mid-century modern furniture pieces for sale.
You’ll also notice a geometric sculpture in the window by Patrick Nickell. The shop will not only be holding art installations, but will incorporate the designs into pairs of BedHead PJs: “We’re going to shrink Patrick’s geometric shapes to two to three inches and make a print. We want to sell 100 pairs to support the artist. We also pay for the use of the sculpture and, of course, hope to sell it,” Claire explains. There will be more installations to follow. Boutique hours are Mon-Sat 11am-7pm and Sun 12pm-5pm.
