Amber Valetta launched her capsule collection for Monrow at Ron Herman on Thursday night, and man o’ man were them some hefty price tags. The luxurious collection of basics boasted white boyfriend tees and tanks and silk jumpers and rayon rompers. My favorite piece, a back poncho-style top with a draped fringe scarf detail went for a cool $720, while a long sleeved party-stopping maxi dress went for $798. Each piece was flawlessly tailored and I wanted every item in every color, but I don’t think $400 gold lace hot pants are in my future.
