A note on the storefront window delivers news that Krislyn at 8216 West 3rd Street—the spot for intriguing and beautiful botanicals and much more for your decor—will be closing at its current space in mid-January and reopening at another nearby location as an appointment-only studio. A staffer explains that this means no more flowers or events, but that designer Krislyn Meyer-Komarov will be working with interior designers and other clients, as well as doing some wholesaling (she’s been doing very well via Malibu Home). Certainly, this means less overhead, and the staffer continues that “this will allow her to spend more time being creative, which is what she loves.”
The text of the note after the jump…
“The KRISLYN design team is proud to announce it’s extended entree into full time custom design and wholesale product development. As of January 2010 we will be moving into a beautiful new design studio located in teh neighborhood. Please come in and sign out guestbook if you would like to be notified of our opening and offerings in 2010. You may also long on to www.krislydesign.com for further updates.”
