As I mentioned, tonight is the West 3rd Street Holiday Party from 6pm-9pm, with more than 60 participating boutiques, restaurants and businesses on West 3rd between La Cienega and Fairfax.

The West 3rd Street Business Association has amped up its efforts and enlisted a marketing professional to get the word out, which includes this nifty map, as well as a full list of participants with accompanying info on who’s offering what for the night.

There will also be YADA carolers and the Fairfax Marching Band strolling and performing along the street, as well as a visit from Santa who will be handing out candy canes, as well as reading at Hands-On Third at 6:15pm and The Knitter’s Studio at 6:45pm.

Also, if you visit any five of the nine stores marked with a raspberry-hued gift box (show above on the map), pick up a raffle entry form and collect the stickers at each of these shops, then turn in the filled-out entry at Hands-On Third, The Knitter’s Studio or Taboo Hair Salon. Four winners will be selected at random by December 20 and receive a $50 gift card redeemable at any of the participating stores and merchants on the map, valid through June 1, 2010.

And don’t forget the free public valet for the night (marked by orange umbrella stands), where they’ll be handing out maps and flyers.
