Have a proper photo forthcoming, but not in a place to upload it just yet. But I will say this, Doughboys did indeed have a soft opening today, serving up free food from 11am-2pm. Around 3:30pm, all the chairs were upside down on the tables and a staffer was telling people to return tomorrow and Friday for free eats—that’s Thursday and Friday from 11am-2pm and 5pm-8pm. The idea is to be open for regular business Monday, January 11, as previously mentioned. Free food means you can order what they have available, some soups, salads and sandwiches.
UPDATE: Current photos now up! Also, peeps were also eating for free last (Wednesday night), which I caught as I walked by.

Went by for dinner Thursday night, but the crowd was too big and the line was too long. Went back Friday morning at 11, but they couldn’t open, due to waiting on an inspection from the Fire Dept. Finally got the thumbs up from F.D. by 12:15, but they decided it was too late to serve lunch today, so they will do another soft open for dinner tonight. They estimate the “real” opening will be Wednesday.
