Panini Cafe Taking Splash Space
May 6th, 2008 · 10 Comments
Word is chain Panini Cafe, which is also in Beverly Hills, is taking the place of the long-closed Splash Spa at the corner of West 3rd Street and Crescent Heights. Would prefer an affordable non-chain restaurant myself. Have never eaten there, so can’t make much of a culinary critique. Has anyone been/eaten there? Thoughts?

May 2nd, 2008 · No Comments
Just posted an extensive photo gallery on Racked LA of last night’s festivities for those that are interested. Breadworks is supposed to open spring ‘08, so that would mean soon, soon, soon. The website lists an extensive bread menu, but also a hot menu and lunch boxes, making me curious about what the set up with be. Will there be seating? A barstool type deal?

The Kokomo Cafe has said bye-bye to The Farmers Market at The Grove, but has set up a shiny new restaurant at the corner of Beverly and Martel. Didn’t get an image, as I was running, but it definitely looks like an upgrade.
