Word  is chain Panini Cafe, which is also in Beverly Hills, is taking the place of the long-closed Splash Spa at the corner of West 3rd Street and Crescent Heights. Would prefer an affordable non-chain restaurant myself. Have never eaten there, so can’t make much of a culinary critique. Has anyone been/eaten there? Thoughts?

These are these new condos on Hayworth north of Beverly Boulevard—around the corner from the Shoe Pavilion. No word  on pricing that I can see on the site. I feel like if you lived in a condo like this one on Sweetzer, you’d have to not go Warhol on principle. It’s just way, way too obvious. But maybe the person who chooses to live here already has a Warhol print, poster, whatever laying around.
