Been keeping an eye on the building going up on Blackburn between Sweetzer and La Jolla. Word from a construction worker a while back was that it will be a five-story complex of some sort—not sure if it’s apartments or condos. Can’t tell much at this point, other than it takes up the [...]

Just a quick update from the husband on the Blackburn Avenue property, just east of Sweetzer: “Per construction worker, vacant lot on Blackburn you posted about will be a five-story building.”

The property just east of Sweetzer on Blackburn Avenue has laid fallow for some time, but a bulldozer is parked out front (at least as of Sunday) and it looks like there’s pre-construction excavation in progress. Likely, not my dream park, but condos or apartments coming. UPDATE here.
