Women’s boutique Some Odd Rubies is closing even sooner than co-owner Odessa Whitmire estimated last week—shuttering Saturday, September 5 instead of October 1. And on Sunday, September 6 and Monday, September 7, the shop will be selling its vintage furniture, jewelry cases, mirror, hangers, etc., etc. Yes, sadly, everything will be gone.

Well, it looks like the rent reduction did the trick at 8026 West 3rd Street, the former Devon Leigh, as the space is now leased. Right next to the sadly closing (October 1) Some Odd Rubies, I’ve heard an eyeglasses boutique may be incoming. No confirmation, that’s just the latest word.
