And scene. Wow, that really did happen fast. The block of 8243 West 3rd Street between Sweetzer and Harper is gone, but for a mass of debris at its center. Now, on to watching the three-level retail and parking structure get built.

Spanish Revival at 6666 Drexel Coming Down

And the teardown begins at 6666 Drexel, bought back on April 2nd for $1,015,000. It just sat there for months, but then the fence went up, and now down it will come. Thanks to Alex the Sea Turtle for the update.

West 3rd Street Building Going Down

The West 3rd Street building at La Jolla has just been sitting there unused since I can remember. This weekend, the second floor was in the process of being torn down. We’ll see what happens here. It’s just east of Toast, Milk, Rodan vs. Griffith, etc.
