Despite word of a mid-December closing to make way for The Burger Factory, restaurant Surya India at 8048 West 3rd Street is still open as of last night. But there are signs of the burgers to come, the application for The Burger Kitchen Inc. is now posted in the window.

It’s unclear who will be the next tenant at the building at West 3rd Street and Crescent Heights (Panini Cafe?), but now we at least get to see the top half of it, gray with tall glass ceilings wrapping around it.
