At around 5pm last night, there were three helicopters circling around the neighborhood, just south of West 3rd Street. Economy is down, so crime is up. This morning the Washington Mutual at Beverly and Fairfax was robbed and there’s “at least one suspect,” per the LAT’s LA Now blog.
Apparently, police and FBI hit the scene at 10:40am. The perp had already fled by the time they arrived. No one was injured. Photo [...]
